Revamping our design: A new era for Casefleet

Revamping our design: A new era for Casefleet

Posted by Jeff Kerr

Welcome to the new and improved Casefleet website! After months of hard work, we're thrilled to unveil a fresh look that's more than just skin-deep. Let's take a closer look at what's new and why we're so excited about these changes.

The Cornerstone: Our New Logo

One of the first things you'll notice is our new logo. Our previous logo, with its many small triangles and various shades of blue and green, served us well, but it also limited our color scheme and design flexibility.

Group 2-1

Our new logo is a leap toward simplicity and clarity, perfectly encapsulating our mission to help you analyze and prepare cases with incredible speed and power. The "flying folder" design symbolizes efficiency and streamlined processes – core values that drive our company.

Embracing the Power of Purple

Why purple, you ask? Purple is often associated with creativity, wisdom, and transformation – qualities we believe are essential in the legal field. It also helps our design stand out, making it not just visually appealing but also meaningful.

The Importance of Redesigns

We believe that apps that don’t evolve are on a path to obsolescence. A redesign isn't just about aesthetics; it’s about improving usability, clarifying the user interface language and patterns, refreshing the look and feel, and paving the way for new features and enhancements. Our redesign of Casefleet is akin to remodeling a home: we’re not tearing down walls but updating various decorative elements to improve the overall experience.

Key Changes in Our Redesign

1. High Contrast for Better Readability

We've introduced a high-contrast, black-and-white theme across our dashboards and navigation. The new top bar is white with black text for easy readability, and the sidebar/primary navigation features a faint purple-gray background with black text and refreshed icons. This makes everything bright, clear, and easy to read. When something is purple, it signals primary significance, like an important button or a link to view details.

2. A Brighter Document Viewer

Our document viewer now sports a “light” theme with a white top bar and background, making your documents the center of attention.

3. More Efficient Forms

Forms are now more compact with less dead space between rows and less padding around the edges. When you're focused on a particular input, it features a thick black border, clearly indicating where you are typing.

4. A Platform for Future Enhancements

Best of all, this redesign sets the stage for fantastic new features coming in the months ahead. We're excited about our roadmap, which includes e-discovery features, AI additions, and possibly even a “dark mode” for Casefleet. Stay tuned for these exciting developments!
